united kicks off the season in style...thrashing newcastle united 3-0

as expected united had the most of the possession from the first minute,and newcastle were trying to protect their goal by zonal marking system,the first real chance of match came for newcastle united when their no.9 passed the header wide from a well taken corner.rooney looked desperate to proove something and was showin much of the energy in united attack.although manutd dominated most of the possession,in first 30 minutes their were no goals.
manutd opened their account through berbatov when he dragged his shot passed the goal keeper after an excellent pass from paul scholes.united lead 1-0 in the 33rd minute.and then at the end of the first half their was a great all round play by nani,evra when evra's cross found fletcher in six yard box and he scored.consequently first half ended 2-0.
the second half began in the same way as the first.their were enough chances for berbatov but he lacked the final touch.60th minute hernandez came on for wayne rooney then followed by giggs for nani.united looked desperate to increase the lead but couldnt untill there was an excellent quick pass from scholes on to the left wing found the legend ryan giggs and he scored by driving the volley into the bottom right corner of the goal.the legend certainly is worth this too.
overall it was a great enthusiastic,full of energy show from united and the man of the match certainly for me is paul scholes who played the ball very well and regulated the play for united.
